Ciao, The trip to italy started out with a canceled flight on Jan. 7th but the travel agency was very kind and put everyone up for the night in a hotel. The next morning Abby, Kate, Molly, Megan and I went to the airport at 9:30am (our flight wasn't until 4:55pm), the flight was now delayed an hour and wouldn't leave until 5:45. Once we checked in at the AirOne desk and went through security we set up camp in the gate area and watched Kung Fu Panda on one of our computers.
Our flight was not direct to Rome so we stopped in Milan and transfered planes, it was quite the hassle. After we arrived in Rome we found that our luggage had not made the journey to Rome from Milan with us due to strikes in the Italian Unions. It was difficult to arrange for our bags to be found and flown from the Milan airport to Rome and then brought to campus for us by truck, but we some how did it! Most of our luggage arrived late that night but some people weren't so lucky and their luggage is still MIA.
